ALL SCOUTS ATTENDING THIS EVENT MUST HAVE A BLUE CARD PARTIAL, HAVING ALREADY STARTED THE SHOOTING SPORTS MERIT BADGE. This event is meant to support finishing qualifying or miscellaneous requirements, NOT to start the Merit Badge's from scratch.
Date: Sunday, September 11, 2016
Location: Rancho Los Mochos Shooting Ranges, 18450 Mines Road, Livermore, CA 94550
Time: 9 AM - 3 PM - This event is a drop-in. Rangemasters will be available during this timeframe but Scouts should give plenty of time for working on completing requirements and those with several merit badges to work on should plan for the whole day. Ranges will be closed for lunch from around 12-1, so plan accordingly.
Cost: $20 per discipline or $45 for all three. Lunch will not be provided for particpants or parents, due to the drop-in nature of the event. Please plan accordingly and bring a lunch and/or snacks. Space is limited so sign up early!
Adult supervision on camp during the day is required for all Scouts, either provided by a parent for an individual Scout or Troop adult if a group of Scouts are attending together.
Boy Scouts: Please remember that Merit Badge subjects can be challenging, lengthy and technical; therefore it is not guarenteed that Scouts will complete requirements easily. Shooting Sports Merit Badge can require practice to complete the shooting requirements.
