Come enjoy a day on the archery range! Nestled among the redwoods in the Oakland hills behind the Chabot Space and Science Center is a beautiful 35 acre archery range.

This is limited to the first 50 registrations. Advance Registration will be required, there will be NO walk-ins allowed

Registration will be taken in the order received to the limit.

Four Divisions for the Walk-up Course – Bare bow Format:
Cub Scouts
Boy Scouts
Adults
EXTREME*

To keep this fair, this is a BARE BOW competition. If you bring your own bow, please remove any sights, kissers, peeps, scopes, stabilizers, etc. The bow must be checked out by the Range Master (please plan on coming a few minutes early for inspection). If bow doesn’t meet requirements or is deemed unsafe, a suitable replacement will be issued. Also, do to the # of bows available from our camp source, some bow sharing may be required.

*EXTREME is a division for non-bare bow shooters. Peeps, Stabilizers, releases, scopes, sights, etc., will place the shooter in the EXTREME Division. This group may be removed if there are no registrants.

For the less adventurous scouts and adults, there will be a format on the practice range for a balloon shoot.

Cost:
Walk-up Course: $10.00 per participant– Covers patch and Prizes.
Balloon Shoot: $5.00 per participant – Covers patch
Both! 15.00 per participant

Bring your own bow (will be discussed when registering) or use one of our fine camp bows. If you wish to use one of our bows, please know how many right or left handed shooters are in your group, ages and experience levels, so we have the right bows on hand.

Basic Safety instruction, practice, and coaching 8:30 – 9:00
First groups released to range: 9:00
