REGISTRATION for EAGLE Requirement CAMP is NOW OPEN!
Eagle Requirement Camp is an intensive week-long Boy Scout Summer Camp program focusing on advancement in many of the specially-required merit badges for Eagle rank. Scouts who prior to camp, have completed all the prerequisites for merit badges such as Personal Management, Family Life, etc., may be able to earn several merit badges during the week.
LOCATION: Camp Royaneh, 4600 Scanlon Road, Cazadero, CA
DATES: Sunday thru Saturday, June 16-22, 2019
COST: $465 (includes a 2019 Summer Camp T-shirt)
The focus of the camp is advancement, however many traditional Summer Camp program opportunities exist for free-time fun and enjoyment such as shooting sports, swimming, handicrafts and more. The staff includes veteran adult Scouters with extensive experience as merit badge counselors in these Eagle-required subject areas.
This full-week session is limited to 20 Scout participants. Acceptance to the camp will be on a first-come, first-serve basis with priority given to older Scouts.
Please plan to attend a mandatory orientation meeting held at 10am Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at the YLTC, 1001 Davis Street, San Leandro, CA. At this meeting participants will get the chance to meet the Staff/Merit Badge Counselors and receive important information regarding their week at camp.
All Boy Scouts, regardless of rank or progress in rank, must now use the current requirements (that came out a year ago on January 1st, 2018). Boy Scouts had the previous year to finish up whatever rank they were working on, and all Boy Scouts now get to use the current requirements (they could have used them earlier if desired, but all must now use the current requirements). The Boy Scout rank requirements have been updated with the current requirements.
