GYC Cub Scout Shooting Sports Day

       

Come show us your marksmanship! Cub Scouts register NOW and choose between BB Guns, Archery or Slingshot, and dedicate their half-day session to learning and practicing that skill. Staff cannot guarantee the completion of the Cub Scout Shooting Awards, but Cub Scouts may have the opportunity to work on requirements during their half-day session. Parents must remain in camp with their Cub Scout for the duration of their schedule. Lunch will be provided.

As stated in the BSA Guide to Safe Scouting Age Appropriate Guidelines, Lions may participate in Archery and/or Slingshot but may NOT participate in BB Guns until Tigers.

WHEN: Saturday, September 14, 2019

WHERE: Camp Warren McConnell; 11760 Livingston Cressey Rd., Livingston, CA 95334

WHO: All registered Cub Scouts through Webelos.

SCHEDULE:

Morning Session:  Sign-in 8:45 am; Shooting from 9 am - 12 pm.

Lunch (both sessions):  12 pm - 1 pm.

Afternoon Session:  Sign-in 11:45 am; Shooting from 1 pm - 4 pm.

COST:

ONLY $35 per session for Cub Scout and one parent/partner. Registration cost includes program for the half-day session and lunch for one Cub Scout and one parent/partner. Additional partner may attend for $10 lunch fee. This is an individual sign-up activity.

Program and Camp Refund Policy FOR ALL CAMPS AND EVENTS Effective December 20, 2018 A great deal of planning and advance purchasing takes place for all programs and events of Central California Camping during the months and weeks prior to an event, (facility rentals, supplies, staff hiring, food contracting, and program material acquisition.) Because of this, Central California Camping has had to renew its refund policy. 1. Refunds requested two weeks (14 days) prior to an event/camp may receive up to an 80% refund. One week prior (7 days) to your event/camp receive a 60% refund. Within seven (7) days of the event/camp there will be no refund. Any refund will be based on the following criteria: 2. Types of refunds considered: serious illness or injury (a doctor’s certification required) or death in immediate family. Refunds are not given for no-shows, conflict of schedule (such as sports events, out of country trips), weather conditions, or behavior issues occurring before or during the event/camp. No requests accepted after September 1st. 3. Refunds will be returned to the person(s) or entity from which the funds were received. Refund requests should be sent to: Central California Camping, 1001 Davis Street, San Leandro CA 94577. Please include: participants name, unit, number, district, address, contact phone number, name of event and date or session of event.
