The Sea Scout Ships Corsair (all-male) and Viking (all female) run a co-ed program for high school aged youth in San Francisco that focuses on sailing training on traditional whaleboats. In addition to operating these historic wooden vessels, the members learn boat maintenance, piloting, safety, and a number of other maritime skills.

Our year-round program includes weekend trips, competitions with other Sea Scouting groups from around the nation, and the highlight of our program, a two week summer cruise on the Sacramento-San Joaquin delta.

The girls meet every Tuesday evening from 5:00-6:30, and the boys meet from 6:00-7:30, and the whole group meets every Saturday from 9:30-5:00. Click here for a map and directions [4] to our meeting base. For more information, check the contacts page [5].
