If you did not have a chance to watch the live showing of the webcast regarding the upcoming changes in the BSA Cub Scout Program, it is available here: http://www.livestream.com/bsanationalcouncil  to watch at your leisure.
You should click on the "New Den Leader Program Orientation" video. The video actually starts at about mark 18:50 so don't sit there in front of your screen thinking there is nothing - it is there! It's about 40 minutes long but gives a quick general view of how the advancements will change from our belt loop/pin, beads, badges, arrow points system to a newer streamlined system integrating all parts of the scouting program into 7 adventures for each rank.
Please let all of your den/pack leaders know if they are unaware that the ENTIRE Cub Scout Program is changing as of June 1st!!
Also, there will be information sessions on the changes to the program at our Mission Peak Roundtables starting in February. We meet at 7pm on the second Thursday of every month at the LDS Church, 810 Walnut Ave, Fremont. There are always games, crafts, songs and of course, information on everything you need to run a great program!
