Adult leaders in units are considered trained, and eligible to wear the official trained emblem, once they have completed Youth Protection Training and the training courses outlined below, or have completed Youth Protection Training and a previous basic training course when it was current.
Training Validation:
Log into myscouting.org [8] with a member ID to look-up individual training record history. This feature will include an option for Youth Protection training taken in the past two years as well as an All Training search.

Courses are offered both by individual districts, and at the Council level. Your district training chair can help you find a session that fits your needs.
You don't have to attend the training in your own district. If your district does not have a convenient training session, please consider attending the course in another district. Training is standardized across the council, so no matter where or when you take it, you'll receive the same excellent course.
