Eagle Submissions

When submitting Eagle applications to the council office, please submit the following:

  • Original Eagle Scout Rank Application (two sided)
  • One copy of Statement of Ambitions (Requirement 6)
  • Two copies of the Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project Workbook (omit the instruction pages)

If additional paper is needed to answer questions from these pages, please attach them to the back of the copies of the project workbook pages.

Please staple or paperclip copies. DO NOT put in binders, jackets, etc. DO NOT include divider sheets or section cover sheets. These will be discarded. Copies of photos, bills, letters, etc. are not to be attached. You will need to take these together with your Original Project Workbook to your Board of Review.

Please DO NOT have the reference letters sent to the council. They are to be directly mailed to the Eagle Coordinator of your district.  Failure to do so can cause a delay in your Board of Review.

Please remember, after you have had your Board of Review, the Original Eagle Scout Rank Application and Advancement Sheet, both affixed with the appropriate signatures, need to be turned in to the council office so they can be submitted to the National Office in order to receive your Eagle status and credentials.

Advancement Errors

If you receive a council copy of your unit's advancements and find errors, either:

  • Go to Internet Advancement and follow directions to enter your unit's code and make the changes yourself, OR
  • Submit a proof copy of the error to San Francisco Bay Area Council, Attn: Registrar, 1001 Davis Street, San Leandro, CA 94577. Please do not fill out a duplicate advancement sheet.

You may request an updated advancement report by leaving the youth member's name, unit number, and a fax number. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call Georgi Zipse at 510-577-9253.
