Nominations are due April 10th or asap to Merl Nygren at merln@comcast.net [6]. Nominate registered adult leaders who have gone above or beyond the norm. They may have served the pack, troop or post as a steady contributor over a long period of time or they may have put in a lot of effort over a shorter period. Maybe they helped revitalize a unit or came up with some really neat ideas that got people excited or maybe they helped the unit grow a lot. Maybe they've been working hard at the district level. You decide who they are and you tell the selection committee why. Anonymous nominations will be discarded. The selection committee will carefully evaluate the nominations. Normally awards are presented to an individual and only given once. This is not a hard and fast rule and the committee always considers the circumstances outlined in the nominations. Units may also be nominated.

Troop 176 - 50th Anniversary Celebration
Boy Scout Troop 176 is planning a 50th Anniversary Celebration for May 2009. An interim "Pushing 50" picnic is planned for May 31, 2008 at Lake Elizabeth in Fremont's Central Park and all current and former troop members are invited.
