Fall Shooting Sports Day - Camp Royaneh

           

Come practice your marksmanship in the Redwoods at Camp Royaneh! Saturday lunch will be provided for all participants.

Cub Scouts will choose between BB Guns or Archery and dedicate their half-day session to practicing that skill. (Cubs wanting to do both Archery and BB Gun must sign up for two sessions. One in the morning and one in the afternoon.)  Parents/Partners must remain in camp with their Cub Scout for the duration of the event. Adults will not be shooting. Cost is only $35 per session for Cub Scout and one parent/partner. Additional partner may attend for $10. This is an individual sign-up activity for Cub Scouts.

Boy Scouts will have the opportunity to shoot Archery, Rifle and Shotgun throughout the day on their own schedule.

Venturing Scouts will have the opportunity to shoot Archery, Rifle, Shotgun, Long-range Rifle and Pistol (for those w/ certification) throughout the day on their own schedule. Each Venturing Scout will receive base number of shooting tickets for Pistol and Long-range Rifle but will need to purchase additional tickets if would like to shoot more at either Pistol or Long-range Rifle. NRA First Steps Pistol Certification will be available for additional fee of $15 per person on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 7-10 pm. Friday night session will cover classroom requirements and range requirements will be completed Saturday morning. Only Registered Venturing Scouts and Adults may register for NRA First Steps Pistol Certification. Must register for NRA First Steps Pistol certification as part of event registration. 


Overnight Camping available on Friday and/or Saturday night for Boy Scouts and Venturing Scouts, at no extra cost. All camping Boy Scouts or Venturing Scouts must be attending with Unit Supervision or Parent Supervision. Please note, only Saturday lunch will be provided as part of event. Those camping must provide all other meals. The Royaneh camp platform tents will already be taken down by October so campers must provide their own tents.

Morning Session: Check-in at 8:30 AM. Shooting from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Lunch (both sessions) 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Afternoon Session: Check-in at 11:30 AM. Shooting from 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Boy Scouts and Venturing Scouts

Check in at 8:30 AM. Ranges open from 9:00-12:00 and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Lunch from 12:00-1:30.

Cancellation Policy
FOR ALL CAMPS AND EVENTS. Effective September 4, 2012. A great deal of advance planning and advance purchasing takes place for all programs and events of the San Francisco Bay Area Council during the months and weeks prior to an event, (facility rentals, supplies, staff hiring, food contracting, and program material acquisition.) Because of this the SFBAC has had to renew its refund policy.. 1. Refunds requested two weeks (14 days) prior to an event/camp may receive up to an 80% refund. One week prior (7 days) to your event/camp receive a 60% refund. Within seven (7) days of the event/camp there will be no refund. Any refund will be based on the following criteria:. . 2. Types of refunds considered: serious illness or injury (a doctors certification required) or death in immediate family. Refunds are not given for no-shows, conflict of schedule (such as sports events, out of country trips), weather conditions, or behavior issues occurring before or during the event/camp. No requests accepted after September 1st.. . 3. Refunds will be returned to the person(s) or entity from which the funds were received.. . Refund requests should be sent to: San Francisco Bay Area Council, 1001 Davis Street, San Leandro CA 94577. Please include: participants name, unit, number, district, address, contact phone number, name of event and date or session of event.
